Grace Matsiko is a veteran journalist with 26 years experience having covered the armed conflicts in Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan, DR Congo, Burundi, Central African Republic and Somalia. His area of interest is investigative journalism with focus on security, defence, justice and politics. More than 15 years after his arrest, Uganda’s Lord’s Resistance Army former rebel commander Thomas Kwoyelo was found guilty by a Ugandan court of 44 counts of atrocity crimes on August 13. More time is required for his sentencing.
