The life and death of the first UN prison
On February 28, the doors of the first ever UN prison closed on 27 years of memories left by former Rwandan dignitaries but also more ordinary people. Félicien Kabuga, who should have been its last resident, is on trial in The Hague, and so the UN "Mechanism" in Arusha drew the consequences.
