Ibuka ("Remember" in kinyarwanda) is the main organization of genocide survivors in Rwanda.
On May 4, the Nyarugenge tribunal had ordered the release of Ibuka Vice-president Eugene Gashugi and the Secretary General of the organization, Freddy Mutanhuga.
Ibuka Executive Secretary Benoit Kaboyi and two other officials had been placed on probation by the tribunal.
In response, the Prosecution had filed an appeal.
During yesterday's hearing, the Prosecution requested the five men to be re-arrested, accusing them of forgery, use of forgeries and tampering with invoices.
According to Radio Rwanda, the defendants claimed again their innocence.
