Handing over Kayishema’s file: The Prosecutor Hassan Bubacar Jallow, Thursday handed over to Rwandan Prosecutor General Martin Ngoga the case file of genocide-fugitive Fulgence Kayishema. The event took place following a decision by the Tribunal to transfer the fugitive’s case to Rwanda for trial. Ngoga seized the opportunity to air his grievances on the way France was handling genocide cases. He disclosed his country’s action last week of sending back home a French rogatory commission as a sign of protest. The commission had come to investigate cases of Rwandans living in France who are accused of participating in the 1994 genocide. Ngoga said his office would reassess the working relationship with France if such European country would not change its approach on the matter.
